“ Letys does not disappoint. Stuffed Seafood Chili Renjo was out of this world and the Garlic Shrimp was cooked perfect. ”
“ Best coconut shrimp ON EARTH- and in the universe, I would argue. I also love the chili rolleno stuffed with mixed seafood. If you haven’t been to Lety’s you haven’t been to Zihua. They moved a few years ago and the new space has a contemporary Mexico City vibe but still maintains their cozy small fishing-town authenticity. We love you Lety!! ”
“ We went here for dinner. Nice rooftop restaurant. The food was great and the service was very good. It is a bit expensive but worth it. We started with the fish teritas which is a little like a ceviche and was delicious. I had the seafood stuffed chili, my wife had the tamarind shrimp and our friends had the coconut shrimp. Everything was very tasty. I would definitely go back and recommend it. ”
“ Absolutely Outstanding! Lety’s Restaurant is an absolute gem in Zihua. From start to finish, the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The food? Incredible. I had the lobster salad and coconut shrimp, and both were perfectly prepared with fresh, vibrant flavors. My wife opted for the fried whole fish (today’s catch was red snapper), and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. And let’s not forget the planter’s punch—delicious and refreshing, the perfect complement to an incredible meal. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Zihua, Lety’s is the place to be. Highly recommend! ”
“ We always return to Lety's and I always have her wonderful coconut shrimp but last night I tried her chili rellana stuffed with seafood and can't wait to go back and have it again ”
“ We've visited Zihuatenejo twice and by recommendation of a friend we're lucky to find Lety's. It's slightly off the beaten path of the downtown area but is well worth the scenic stroll on the trail by the canal. The quality of the food is hands down THE BEST we've had in the area! Service is friendly and even accommodated a vegetarian option. My girlfriend loved the Coconut shrimp which is obviously a favorite of many guests. Don't think twice. You won't regret it! The food presentation is artistic and Lety even greeted us at the end of our meal. Outstanding! We'll be back!! ”
“ This was our first time at Letys restaurant. We HAD to get the famous coconut shrimp, it was worth the hype! It was delicious! My husband got the chicken with chipotle cream sauce over pasta and it was also delicious! Great service! Lety came and talked to us at our table to make sure we were happy with our meals. ”
“ The coconut shrimp and the seafood stuffed pepper are amazing.. whoever makes drinks is heavy with the alcohol.. highly recommend if your visiting zihuatanejo ”
